Citing FireWords

The purpose of FireWords is to standardize technical fire science terminology. Therefore, we expect that the short definition provided in this glossary will often be used verbatim when incorporated into other documents. This is permitted as long as the reference to the definition is properly cited. The citation for an individual term should refer to its author (listed in the "Notes" section of each entry). For example,
