n. A crown fire that continuously exhibits a solid wall of flame from the surface through the canopy.

Continuous crown fire is a Canadian term; it is the functional equivalent of active crown fire, but implies longevity to the active crown fire. That is, the solid wall of flame persists continuously rather than intermittently.

Contrast continuous crown fire with the related term intermittent crown fire.
